Как мы знаем из последних утечек операционной системы BlackBerry 10.3.1, BBM Meetings, сервис конференц связи, будет работать на основе технологии Zoom и BlackBerry не пытается сохранить дату запуска в секрете — она опубликована прямо на странице BBM Meetings — и состоится во время мероприятия для корпоративных клиентов в Сан Франциско 13 ноября. Но то, что BBM Meetings будет работать на основе Zoom, не означает, что BlackBerry не может принести свои собственные дополнения к этому сервису, и несколько патентов опубликованные в этот вторник показывают, что это действительно имеет место.
Далее по списку следуют носимые устройства. BlackBerry не планирует разработку носимых устройств в том смысле, в котором все думают о них в эти дни, а в более традиционном смысле, в соответствии с этими последними патентами. Вместо того чтобы создавать новые смарт-часы или нечто подобное, BlackBerry разрабатывает устройства, действительно пригодные для носки, что например предоставляет возможность разблокировать устройство, когда оно находится в непосредственной близости от браслета на запястье.
